Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to identify individual patient needs and collaboratively develop customized treatment plans.

• Utilize a variety of therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Therapy, to deliver effective evidence-based therapeutic interventions to clients.

• Facilitate psychoeducational workshops and support groups to help patients develop coping skills and foster community connections.

• Engage in crisis intervention when necessary, providing crucial support to patients during moments of mental health crisis or emergency situations.

• Educate clients about mental health disorders, available treatment options, and beneficial community resources that enhance their recovery journey.

• Maintain rigorous documentation practices, ensuring compliance with legal, ethical, and organizational standards.

• Participate actively in case consultations and team meetings to discuss patient progress and wellness strategies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Mental Health Counselor at Summit Mind, you will engage with a wide-ranging population facing various challenges, including but not limited to depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and substance abuse. Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of California.

• Demonstrated knowledge of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment modalities.
\n
• Expertise in conducting comprehensive mental health assessments and formulating effective treatment plans.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively connect with patients and collaborate with the healthcare team.

• High ethical standards and sound judgment in maintaining professional boundaries.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and proficient use of applicable computer applications.

Compensation and Benefits\n
