Work Environment\n

This position is uniquely structured to allow for remote work, offering flexibility while maintaining connection to a supportive outpatient office team in Riverside, California. Our collaborative work environment includes regular case consultations, peer review meetings, and performance discussions designed to optimize treatment strategies and ensure excellent patient care. While the standard work schedule is from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 4 PM, some flexibility may be required to accommodate patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough clinical assessments of clients utilizing evidence-based practices to determine individual needs and develop tailored treatment plans.

• Implement a variety of therapeutic interventions including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and other relevant modalities that resonate with the diverse client base.

• Maintain accurate and confidential clinical documentation that complies with HIPAA regulations and organizational policies.
\n
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team composed of psychiatrists, psychologists, and other mental health providers to ensure comprehensive client care.

• Participate in peer supervision and case consultations to enhance insights and treatment effectiveness.
\n
• Educate clients and their families on mental health issues, available treatment options, and relevant community resources to foster informed participation in their own care.

• Engage in ongoing professional development and stay abreast of current research and methodologies in the mental health field.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure in California as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• Proficient understanding of solution-oriented psychotherapy techniques that can be customized for each client’s specific journey.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with strong interpersonal abilities, to build effective therapeutic alliances.

• Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex client issues effectively.

• Ability to work collaboratively, valuing the insights and contributions of all team members to enhance treatment outcomes.

Preferred Experience\n

• Previous experience in an outpatient setting is highly preferred.
