Key Responsibilities\n

The Licensed Mental Health Counselor will have the following responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough mental health evaluations to assess the needs of clients and determine suitable treatment plans.

• Provide crisis intervention and ongoing therapeutic support to individuals facing immediate psychological challenges.

• Document clinical notes and complete required statistical reports to monitor patient progress and outcomes accurately.

• Collaborate with various health professionals, including psychologists and social workers, to integrate services and ensure quality patient care.

• Facilitate group therapy sessions targeted at addressing mental health issues and enhancing interpersonal skills.

• Engage in regular clinical supervision to clarify case management practices and enhance professional development.

• Participate in clinical rounds and case conferences to contribute to treatment planning and review of patient care.

• May conduct psychological testing as needed and supervise interns or student volunteers to foster their development in the field.

• Perform additional duties as delegated by the leadership team, ensuring alignment with clinic goals and patient needs.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be providing care to diverse clients, including those who are incarcerated or at risk of incarceration. The role necessitates a culturally sensitive approach to meet the unique mental health needs of these individuals, many of whom may have complex histories involving trauma, substance abuse, or severe mental illnesses. Your contributions will directly affect their recovery journey, enabling healthier coping mechanisms and rehabilitation.

Qualifications\n

• Must possess a valid mental health licensure, such as LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT, in the state of Washington.

• Minimum of a Master’s degree or doctorate in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A total of five years of full-time, paid, professional experience in a behavioral health setting, including at least two years of post-licensure experience.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, preference will be given to candidates who demonstrate:

Compensation and Benefits\n

We are proud to offer a competitive salary range of USD 115,000 to USD 130,000 annually, compensating for your valuable expertise in the field.
