Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough initial assessments to evaluate clients' mental, emotional, and behavioral health, documenting detailed case history from the first interaction through treatment completion.

• Develop individualized treatment and recovery plans tailored to the unique needs of individuals, couples, families, or groups, ensuring that interventions are evidence-based.

• Facilitate engaging and productive individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing various therapeutic modalities and techniques to foster healing and growth.

• Regularly monitor and document client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to optimize outcomes and address any emerging needs.

• Collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, social workers, and nurses, to create cohesive intervention strategies that support clients’ overall health.

• Maintain ongoing relationships with other healthcare providers for clients requiring hospitalization, providing necessary follow-ups to ensure continuity of care.

• Identify at-risk behaviors and implement proactive measures to prevent setbacks in recovery, providing educational resources and support to clients and their families.

• Assist families and primary caregivers in understanding and managing mental health challenges, promoting a system of care that supports recovery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our clients may be dealing with anxiety, depression, PTSD, addiction, and other emotional or behavioral disorders. Your role will be crucial in guiding them towards healthier coping mechanisms and improved life satisfaction.

Qualifications\n

• A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in New Jersey.

• A demonstrated commitment to professional standards through achieving passing scores in the National Counselor Examination (NCE) or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).

• Strong clinical skills developed through previous experience as a mental health counselor.

• Proficiency in electronic health record systems such as AVATAR, ensuring efficient documentation and case management.

• Familiarity with the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA) best practices.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, coupled with strong interpersonal abilities.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience, and include a sign-on bonus for qualified candidates.
