What You'll Do

• Perform high-quality 2D, M-mode, and Doppler echocardiograms on adult and pediatric patients
• Coordinate exam scheduling, patient transport, and billing information accuracy
• Assist cardiologists during exam procedures; prepare and measure M-modes for diagnosis
• Manage documentation, including logging patients, exams, and filing records
• Respond to patient needs and monitor patient condition during exams
• Maintain equipment quality control and coordinate repairs as needed
• Participate in departmental performance improvement activities
• Support on-call coverage for emergency echo exams outside regular hours

What You Need

• Required:
• A.R.D.M.S./CCI registration or eligibility; State of NM Echo Sonographer License
• BLS certification (American Heart Association)
• High school diploma or equivalent; 2-year allied health education preferred
• Demonstrated ability to perform echocardiograms
• Effective communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced, stressful environments
• Preferred:
• 2+ years of active echocardiogram experience
• Strong manual dexterity and teamwork skills
