Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Badge Systems Administrator in Santa Fe Springs CA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution and more. As an Access Control Officer at a fast-paced distribution location you will monitor entry points verify credentials manage visitor and badge access and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a caring agile reliable and innovative team that acts with integrity.

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients visitors drivers and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Control access to the logistics and distribution location by verifying identification visitor credentials delivery appointments and authorization for entry and exit.
• Monitor and document the movement of personnel vehicles deliveries and shipments at access points following established site procedures.
• Respond to incidents access concerns alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner escalating issues to appropriate personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access areas loading docks parking areas and the business perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least two years of security-related experience.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
