We are looking for a Staff Accountant to join a growing organization. This position is ideal for an accounting specialist who enjoys maintaining accurate financial records, supporting day-to-day accounting operations, and collaborating with colleagues across the business. The role offers the opportunity to contribute to core accounting processes while helping ensure compliance and financial integrity.

Responsibilities:
• Prepare and post journal entries to support accurate and timely month-end and year-end close activities.
• Reconcile general ledger accounts and investigate discrepancies to maintain reliable financial reporting.
• Assist with accounts payable functions, including reviewing transactions and ensuring proper coding and documentation.
• Support corporate tax and sales tax activities by organizing data, preparing schedules, and assisting with filings.
• Maintain the integrity of accounting records by reviewing transactions for accuracy, completeness, and policy compliance.
• Work closely with internal team members to resolve accounting issues and improve the efficiency of routine processes.
• Contribute to the preparation of financial reports and other supporting analyses requested by management.• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of accounting experience in a staff accountant or similar role.
• Hands-on experience preparing journal entries and performing account reconciliations.
• Knowledge of general ledger activity and day-to-day accounting operations.
• Familiarity with accounts payable processes and transaction review.
• Experience supporting corporate tax, sales tax, and corporate tax return activities.
• Strong attention to detail, effective communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
