Highlights: 19-bed private room medical-surgical unit specializing in neurological and stroke-related care Patient population includes acute ischemic and hemorrhagic stroke, TIA, seizure disorders, traumatic brain injury, and neurosurgical patients Unit equipped with continuous telemetry and pulse oximetry monitoring for comprehensive patient assessment Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and more Evidence-based, patient-centered care focused on neurological assessment, stroke recovery, and optimizing functional outcomes 91-day travel assignment with competitive compensation Requirements: Active RN license (state or compact license required at time of submittal) Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required Travel nursing experience preferred Current BLS and NIHSS certifications required Epic charting system experience required Experience with patient ratio of 1:6 Proficiency in medical-surgical and telemetry nursing skills including IV management, medication administration, dysrhythmia interpretation, and neurological assessment Must complete core compliance items and labs within 48 hours of contract signing Why Join Us?
