Role Description: Month-End Close Activities: Downloading and verifying bank statements, reconciling exchange accruals, managing exchange daily files, and updating payment-for-order-flow (PFOF) accruals. Reconciliations: Reconciling billing system data with exchange invoices, daily and monthly exchange data, and PFOF actuals across multiple counterparties. Journal Entry Preparation: Preparing and booking journal entries for accruals, actuals, connectivity fees, and other charges, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and Peoplesoft uploads. Supporting Reports: Preparing, refreshing, and e-mailing preliminary and final reporting files (P&L, tiers, AOS/Precision, and client billing). Other Key Procedures: Refreshing kickout files, updating OCC files, uploading rules to billing system, reconciling unclaimed wires, and ensuring alignment with exchange fee schedules and updates. Skills, experience, qualifications and knowledge required: 4+ years of experience in Financial Services organization in an Accounting role Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance from accredited college/university Strong accounting technical skills Experience with Options products is required Ability to research US GAAP independently Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Organized and able to manage multiple projects and deadlines Excellent analytics, critical thinking and problem-solving skills Advanced in MS Office particularly in Excel Data Visualization tools are a plus Explore Insights & Vision: Identify the underlying causes of problems faced by you or your team and define a clear vision and direction for the future.
