We are seeking a dedicated professional to serve as a Paraprofessional, supporting elementary learners in a dynamic school environment. This contract position begins August 18 and extends through June 10, offering more than 30 hours per week across a standard Monday through Friday schedule.

You will work closely with teachers and staff to provide hands-on assistance, helping students navigate both academic and social activities. Your ability to foster a positive, inclusive, and encouraging classroom atmosphere will play a key role in student growth and achievement.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience as a Paraprofessional or similar support role preferred
• Committed to supporting young learners, particularly in elementary grades
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Patience, adaptability, and a passion for education
• Ability to work the full contracted period and maintain reliable attendance

Responsibilities:

• Assist classroom teachers with instructional and behavioral support
• Work one-on-one or in small groups with students to reinforce lessons
• Help implement individualized learning or behavioral plans
• Support activities that encourage social, emotional, and academic development
• Maintain a safe and engaging classroom environment
• Communicate observations and progress to teaching staff as needed
