Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Intensive Care Unit to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care in a 12-bed ICU specialized in surgical, oncology, and palliative care patients.
• Float to various units as necessary, including the Bellevue campus and specific medical-surgical and specialty units.
• Maintain a patient ratio of 1:2-3 and manage care for up to five med-surg patients as needed.
• Collaborate with care teams including CNAs, care techs, and paramedics to ensure optimal patient care.
• Administer drips and manage complex patient cases across multiple care levels.
• Utilize EPIC for charting and documentation; participate in team meetings and continue professional development.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in Nebraska or pending license with expected receipt prior to start.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a large urban hospital's Intensive Care Unit.
• BLS certification required; ACLS certification preferred.
• Proficiency in EPIC charting system.
• Experience in trauma Level I facility necessary.
• Commitment to a nicotine-free campus and adherence to facility-specific policies, including mandatory work attire.
