Job Description & Requirements Specialty: PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/25/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Job Opportunity – Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) RN – Ohio Start Date: September 2026 Location: Cleveland, Ohio Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule: Night shift, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM; must work at least every other holiday Highlights: Pediatric Intensive Care Unit serving patients up to 25 years of age Specialized care including epilepsy monitoring, EKG rhythm recognition, and inotrope management Orientation includes ECG rhythm recognition and safe medication administration assessments Extension opportunities available for up to 18 months of continuous service Professional development through specialty-specific module training and annual competencies Requirements: Minimum 18 months of permanent experience in PICU required prior to travel assignments Minimum 18 months of recent pediatric experience (travel experience acceptable) Active Ohio RN license or Compact State license required at time of application Current certifications required: BLS (AHA or American Red Cross), ACLS, and PALS NIHSS certification preferred Professional reference from a manager, supervisor, or director in the specialty within the past 12 months required COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations required (medical/religious exemptions considered) Successful completion of ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation Why It's a Great Opportunity: This position offers the chance to provide critical care to pediatric patients in a sophisticated hospital environment with access to advanced monitoring and treatment modalities.
