Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Make a difference in the lives of students as a Physical Therapist at a school located near Poughkeepsie, NY! This contract position offers the opportunity to work with a diverse PreK and school-aged caseload, providing essential support and therapy to help students reach their full potential. The assignment begins as soon as possible and runs through June 25, 2027, offering stability and the chance to form meaningful connections with both students and staff.

Qualifications:

• Active New York PT license required
• Certification to practice Physical Therapy in NY schools
• Experience in a school-based or pediatric setting is a plus
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Commitment to providing high-quality, student-centered care

Responsibilities:

• Provide physical therapy services to students ages PreK through elementary
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on students’ IEPs
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Monitor and document student progress, modifying interventions as needed
• Support students in accessing the curriculum and participating fully in school activities
• Deliver services across multiple settings, as assigned
