Key Responsibilities\n

• Establish and maintain a positive, trusting rapport with patients through open communication and empathetic listening.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to diagnose and treat a variety of mental health disorders, including anxiety, depression, and relationship issues.

• Create individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's specific circumstances, ensuring they are evidence-based and client-centered.

• Facilitate regular therapy sessions for individuals, couples, and families, providing guidance, support, and effective coping strategies.

• Monitor patient progress through ongoing evaluations and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and specialists to refer clients for additional assessment and treatment when required, maintaining a continuum of care.

• Document treatment sessions and progress notes accurately, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Engage in continuous professional development to stay abreast of the latest therapeutic methodologies and best practices in mental health treatment.

You will work primarily with clients facing multiple challenges, including both mental health issues and substance abuse disorders. Qualifications\n

• Valid license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in California.

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
