Key Responsibilities\n

• Build and maintain positive, trusting relationships with patients to encourage open communication and a supportive therapeutic environment.

• Conduct comprehensive initial assessments to diagnose and treat various mental health disorders, ensuring tailored care plans for every patient.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient-specific needs, cultural backgrounds, and circumstances, adjusting as necessary based on ongoing assessments.

• Facilitate regular counseling sessions for individuals and couples, addressing issues such as anxiety, depression, relational dynamics, and trauma, among others.

• Utilize evidence-based practices and therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, and other methodologies to optimize patient outcomes.

• Monitor and assess patient progress regularly to evaluate the effectiveness of treatment plans, making adjustments to meet evolving needs and goals.

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and specialists to ensure comprehensive care, making referrals when necessary to support patient recovery.

Qualifications\n

• A valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in California.
