Key Responsibilities\n

In your capacity as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive psychosocial assessments to understand clients' needs and challenges.

• Coordinating care with multidisciplinary teams to offer comprehensive therapeutic services.

• Providing individual, family, or group psychotherapeutic treatment based on client needs and treatment plans.

• Consulting with team members to ensure holistic care approaches are implemented effectively.

• Liaising with community agencies to facilitate access to necessary resources for clients.

• Documenting treatment plans, sessions, and client progress in accordance with established medical records policies.

• Engaging in disposition planning and advocacy to support clients in achieving their therapeutic goals.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your practice will primarily involve working with adult and geriatric populations, providing supportive care to individuals experiencing a variety of emotional and psychological challenges. As the program expands, opportunities may arise to work with child and adolescent clients, allowing for a broadening of your therapeutic expertise and experience. Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• Must hold a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution.

• Possess an active and unrestricted license as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of California.

• Demonstrated knowledge of theoretical and clinical models relevant to marriage and family therapy.

• Ability to build effective therapeutic relationships with clients, ensuring trust and empathy are fostered.

• Excellent written communication skills for creating clear and comprehensive clinical notes.

• Adept in documenting clinical evaluations and ensuring adherence to best practices for medical records.

• Capacity to perform complete mental status examinations and track changes in clients' mental health.

• Strong knowledge of community resources to support client needs and navigate care coordination.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, candidates with the following experience will be given preference:
