Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of mood disorder symptoms, including their intensity, frequency, and duration, to provide accurate diagnosis and treatment recommendations.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans centered on evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). Your expertise will guide tailored interventions for individual client needs.

• Educate clients and families about mood disorders, available treatment options, coping strategies, and self-care techniques to promote understanding and empowerment.

• Monitor and document client progress meticulously, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans to ensure optimal outcomes and satisfaction.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to deliver integrated care and provide a multi-faceted approach to mental health treatment.

• Stay abreast of current research and emerging trends in mood disorder treatment to continuously enhance therapeutic strategies and contribute to the organization's development.

• Ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards by maintaining accurate, confidential records of all clinical work.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will include clients experiencing mood disorders such as depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety. Additionally, you will provide specialized care to vulnerable populations, including homeless individuals, refugees, and survivors of domestic violence, helping them navigate their challenges and rebuild their lives.

Qualifications\n

• A current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.
