The TTUHSC Department of Internal Medicine in Amarillo is dedicated to patient care, teaching at the resident and medical student levels and research. Major/Essential Functions: Analyze records, reports, test results, and examination information to diagnose the medical condition of the patient.

Prescribe or administer medication, therapy, and other specialized medical care, including diagnosis and non-surgical treatment of diseases as part of a multi-disciplinary team.

Monitor patients' conditions and progress and re-evaluate treatments as necessary.

Examine, collect, record, and maintain patient information, such as medical history, reports, and examination results.

Explain procedures and discuss test results or prescribed treatments with patients.

Teach and mentor medical students and residents through lectures and clinic/bedside training.

Required Qualifications: MD, DO, or MBBS.

Completion of an Internal Medicine Residency.

Completion of, or in the process of completing, a Pulmonary/Critical Care Fellowship.

Board Certified, Board Eligible, or in the process of completing training to become Board Eligible in Pulmonary/Critical Care.

Ability to obtain a Texas Medical License.
