Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)

Locums - CRNA Detroit, MI Availability

• Start Date: 07/01/2026
• Assignment Type: Locum, full-time coverage
• Shifts: Variable day shifts (8, 10, or 12 hours)
• No on-call, no weekend requirements

Licensure * Michigan RN License: Required (active at time of submission) Certifications

• NBCRNA Board Certification: Required
• BLS, ACLS, PALS: Required

Experience * Must be fully licensed; new graduates not accepted * Experience in hospital-based anesthesia covering:

• General surgery
• Neurosurgical cases
• Deep sedation/MAC
• Ventilation management
• Oversight of physician-administered regional anesthesia

Facility & Setting

• Level I Trauma Center
• Adult patients and limited pediatric population
• Collaborative team with anesthesiologists, surgeons, RNs, and techs
• EMR: Epic

Clinical Scope

• Preoperative assessments and patient education
• Administer anesthetics and monitor patients during procedures
• Respond to patient emergencies
• Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
