Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct intake assessments to determine clients' mental health needs and therapeutic goals.

• Formulate and implement tailored treatment plans based on evidence-based practices for individuals dealing with conditions such as anxiety, depression, and substance abuse.

• Facilitate both one-on-one and group therapy sessions, ensuring clients have access to various therapeutic tools to promote healing.

• Serve as a liaison, referring clients to external healthcare providers, including psychiatrists and support groups, when necessary.

• Regularly monitor and document client progress using electronic health record (EHR) systems, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Crosscare, you will work predominantly with adults facing a range of mental health challenges, including but not limited to anxiety disorders, mood disorders, and substance abuse issues. Our clients come from diverse backgrounds, and you will be expected to adopt culturally competent and sensitive approaches to therapy.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of California.

• A minimum of four years of relevant clinical experience providing mental health counseling.

• Proficient in utilizing electronic health records (EHR) systems for documentation and case management.

• A strong commitment to maintaining confidentiality, ethical practice, and professional boundaries.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary range for this position is competitively set between USD 70,000 and 100,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
