As a Senior Accountant, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on our financial operations, contribute to process improvements, and grow your career in a supportive environment.If you are a motivated and detail-oriented professional looking for an opportunity to grow and contribute within a fast-paced organization, we encourage you to apply.Essential Responsibilities:Perform month-end and year-end close activities, including journal entry preparation, balance sheet reconciliations, and financial statement analysisLead designated portions of the month-end and year-end close process and support accurate, timely financial reportingPrepare financial reports, analyses, and variance explanations to support accounting leadership and business decision-makingMaintain the general ledger and ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial recordsCollaborate cross-functionally to support revenue and expense accruals and analyze financial statement fluctuationsCoordinate and support external audits, including preparation of audit schedules and responses to audit inquiriesDetermine methods and procedures to resolve complex accounting discrepancies and improve financial processesIdentify opportunities for process enhancements and automation to improve efficiency and effectiveness within the finance functionProvide guidance and mentorship to junior accounting staff and support departmental best practicesCoordinate directly with external auditors and internal stakeholders to support compliance and reporting requirementsRequired Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Accounting or FinanceCPA or MBA preferred3-6 years of progressive accounting experience, with a focus on general ledger accounting, financial reporting, and analysisPrevious experience in public accounting preferredStrong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and financial analysis principlesStrong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environmentAbility to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a collaborative teamAbility to analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide insights to support decision-makingProficiency with ERP systems, including experience with NetSuite or similar platformsAdvanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to create complex spreadsheets and financial modelsPreferred Qualifications:Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate financial information effectively to diverse stakeholdersStrong problem-solving skills, including the ability to identify issues, propose solutions, and implement process improvementsEffective time management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentPassion for continuous learning and professional developmentWhat we offer:Salary is only one component of the Amplify Total Rewards package, which includes a 401(k) plan, competitive health insurance and mental health options, basic life insurance, paid time off, parental leave, and access to best-in-class development programs. The gross salary range for this role is $95,000 - $104,000.
