As an Armed Patrol Officer supporting a public transportation location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide professional assistance to passengers and staff. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $23.81 / Hour Job Schedule DayTimeWed12:00 AM - 08:00 AMThur12:00 AM - 08:00 AMFri12:00 AM - 08:00 AMSat12:00 AM - 08:00 AMSun12:00 AM - 08:00 AM What You’ll Do Provide customer service to passengers, employees, and visitors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at public transportation facilities. Conduct regular and random armed patrols of facilities, platforms, parking areas, transit vehicles, and surrounding perimeters to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and policy violations. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established procedures and coordinating with emergency responders when appropriate. Maintain a visible presence to help deter unauthorized access, disruptive conduct, theft, vandalism, and other prohibited activity. Prepare accurate reports and activity logs, and maintain required qualifications and equipment in accordance with applicable laws, client policies, and Allied Universal procedures. Minimum Requirements A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Possess at least one year of armed guard, law enforcement, or military experience. Possess an armed guard card or license. Possess a 40 caliber endorsement. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
