Overview
Are you a seasoned operations leader ready to partner with a visionary CEO and propel a dynamic medical device company to the next level? Our client, a rapidly growing and innovative medical device firm based in Maryland, is seeking a Chief Operating Officer (COO) to drive operational excellence, scale business performance, and support strategic growth initiatives.
Base pay range
$200,000.00/yr - $250,000.00/yr
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and optimize all operational aspects of the company across manufacturing, supply chain, quality, regulatory, and commercial functions.
- Collaborate closely with the CEO to develop and execute growth strategies, operational plans, and key initiatives.
- Build, mentor, and inspire high-performing teams aligned with company values and business objectives.
- Drive process improvements, scalability, and operational efficiencies to support rapid growth and product innovation.
- Manage vendor relationships, regulatory compliance, and risk to ensure seamless business continuity.
- Provide insightful reporting and KPIs to the executive team and board to support data-driven decision making.
Ideal Experience & Skills
- Proven COO or senior operations leadership experience in medical devices, healthcare technology, or related regulated environments.
- Deep understanding of manufacturing, supply chain, quality systems, and regulatory frameworks (FDA, ISO).
- Demonstrated success scaling operations in a high-growth, innovative company.
- Strong leadership capabilities with a collaborative, transparent style and ability to motivate cross-functional teams.
- Exceptional strategic thinking, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working closely with executive leadership and boards.
