Senior Director, Real Estate and New Store Development

Responsibilities Responsible for planning, organization, and management of the US Automotive Group real estate portfolio. Facilitates the strategic development of new locations, relocations and competitive and independent or related party acquisitions. Oversees all activities related to a successful store opening. Provides oversight for lease renewals/extensions and disposition of USAG’s or parent company’s surplus properties. Manages capital expenditures program and budget for company-owned facilities. Develops and maintains cohesive communication and excellent working relationships with various stakeholders. Operates as a knowledge expert to mentor and instruct team members and colleagues. Manages capital improvements budget for Company's leased and owned facilities and tracks all expenses. Requirements 15+ years’ experience in commercial (industrial and retail) real estate management with leadership experience Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required Experience drafting, interpreting, and negotiating commercial lease language and real estate documents Expert knowledge of construction processes, including permitting and project management Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint is required Advanced proficiency with mapping applications such as Google Earth and Google Maps is required Ability to work with cross-functional teams such as Operations, Facilities, Legal, etc. required Hard Skills commercial real estate management lease negotiation real estate document interpretation construction processes project management capital expenditures management budget management store opening oversight stakeholder communication capital improvements tracking Soft Skills leadership mentoring organizational skills relationship building communication Certifications & Qualifications Bachelor’s degree #J-18808-Ljbffr Jobtailor
