Management And Program Analyst

As a Management and Program Analyst, you will:

1. Apply a comprehensive knowledge of management and organizational techniques, systems and procedures to perform a wide variety of analytical studies and projects.
2. Provide advice and assistance to senior leadership and program officials on the application of management policies and procedures.
3. Develop, coordinate, and implement performance measures to evaluate program productivity for a major organizational segment of an agency, such as a region office, center, or major field installation.
4. Work with management in areas such as implementing reorganizations, improving employee performance and morale, realigning duties and responsibilities, and devising new methods for conducting evaluations.
5. Provide operating officials with information for making decisions on the administrative and programmatic aspects of program operations and management.
6. Recommend the addition, expansion, or modification of management services or to respond to new legislative or program initiatives, changes in policy or funding availability.
7. Analyze and evaluate the management practices and methods, and administrative operations of assigned areas.
8. Define goals to be met on major program issues, recommend a course of action, and implement the course of action chosen for various administrative areas of the organization.
