Senior Accountant

Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $85,000 to $105,000 per year.

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain financial schedules, reconciliations, and supporting documentation to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Support month end and year end close activities, including account analysis and general ledger maintenance.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning initiatives to support business objectives.
• Analyze financial results, investigate variances, and provide meaningful insights to management.
• Participate in audit support, process improvement initiatives, and special accounting projects as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 2+ years of public accounting experience, or at least three years of progressive corporate accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and account reconciliation processes.
• Previous experience working with accounting systems, financial software, and Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and consistently meet deadlines.
