Senior Technology Product Analyst (Member IAM/CIAM)

The Senior Technical Product Analyst supports the operation, modernization, and continuous improvement of member-facing Customer Identity and Access Management (CIAM) platforms. This role serves as a connection point between business stakeholders, leadership, engineers, platform support teams, security partners, vendors, and risk partners to clarify requirements, coordinate delivery, and keep work aligned across teams. The analyst translates business and operational needs into technical concepts, process flows, user stories, acceptance criteria, and implementation plans that support reliable and secure product delivery. The role supports PI Planning, SDLC and release-management activities, vulnerability and lifecycle-management initiatives, operational readiness, and production-support processes across cloud and on-premises CIAM technologies.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business stakeholders, product leadership, engineers, operations teams, security partners, and vendors to gather, clarify, document, and prioritize business and technical requirements.
• Coordinate projects and cross-team initiatives from intake through implementation, ensuring engineers and stakeholders remain aligned on scope, priorities, decisions, timelines, dependencies, and expected outcomes.
• Support vulnerability management by reviewing findings, coordinating remediation plans, tracking owners and target dates, documenting risk, validating closure evidence, and communicating status to leadership and control partners.
• Coordinate SDLC and release-management activities, including planning, upgrade coordination, CI/CD release alignment, decommissioning, and production implementation support.
• Support change management, incident and problem management, disaster recovery, audit support, security controls, and operational-readiness processes.
• Translate business processes, customer journeys, operational needs, and control requirements into technical concepts, process flows, user stories, features, acceptance criteria, and implementation plans.
• Develop and maintain product and operational documentation, including requirements, process maps, support models, runbooks, continuity plans, decision records, reporting, and executive-ready status updates.
• Communicate complex technical information in clear business language and provide concise updates on progress, risks, decisions, and blockers to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Participate in operational support needs as required, which may include after-hours or 24/7 support coverage for critical incidents, releases, or production-related events.
• Provide guidance to team members and help standardize analysis, documentation, and delivery practices across the team.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Business Administration, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• 5+ years of experience in identity and access management (IAM), cybersecurity, business systems analysis, product analysis, software engineering, infrastructure operations, or a related technology discipline.
• Demonstrated experience translating business needs into technical solutions, including requirements gathering, process mapping, user stories, acceptance criteria, workflow documentation, and delivery planning.
• Experience working within Agile and/or SAFe delivery frameworks, including backlog management, sprint planning, dependency coordination, PI Planning, and work management tools such as Azure DevOps.
• Knowledge of Customer Identity and Access Management (CIAM) platforms and identity technologies, including ForgeRock, PingFederate, Daon, or comparable solutions, with a strong understanding of authentication, authorization, identity lifecycle management, risk-based authentication, and multi-factor authentication.
• Familiarity of modern identity management and authentication standards, including OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect (OIDC), SAML, FIDO2, passkeys, and related protocols.
• Experience supporting identity platforms in cloud or hybrid environments, including familiarity with Kubernetes (AKS), Linux-based systems, cloud platforms, system integrations, APIs, and operational support practices.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional technology initiatives involving engineering, security, operations, product management, business stakeholders, vendors, and third-party partners.
• Working knowledge of software delivery and operational processes, including SDLC, release management, testing coordination, CI/CD pipelines, production support, vulnerability remediation, and risk management activities.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills with the ability to assess complex technical and business challenges, identify risks and dependencies, and recommend effective solutions.
• Excellent written, verbal, facilitation, and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences at all organizational levels.
• Proven ability to build relationships, influence without direct authority, drive consensus, and lead initiatives across multiple teams and stakeholders.
