Staff Accountant

Staff Accountant Location: Boca Raton, FL (On-Site Monday-Friday) Employment Type: Full-Time Join Our Growing TeamWe are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our finance team in Boca Raton. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in general accounting, experience managing key accounting functions, and the ability to support the organization's financial operations and reporting needs. This role works closely with the CFO, accounting team, and other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting and operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable workflows Review, verify, and process invoices for accuracy and approval Prepare and post journal entries Reconcile general ledger accounts and investigate discrepancies Assist with month-end and year-end close processes Prepare financial reports and support financial statement preparation Analyze financial data and provide reporting insights to management Support the CFO and senior leadership with accounting and financial initiatives Assist with external audits and provide audit support documentation Partner closely with the Purchasing Department to ensure accurate financial controls and processes Maintain accounting records and ensure compliance with company policies Support budgeting, forecasting, and other ad hoc financial projects as needed Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred Relevant accounting experience may be considered in lieu of a degree Minimum of 2 years of full-cycle accounting experience Strong understanding of general accounting principles Experience working with ERP systems and accounting software Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across departments Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment What We Offer Competitive compensation Comprehensive benefits package Positive and collaborative company culture Direct exposure to senior leadership Career growth and advancement opportunities Stable and growing organization Opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the finance team and broader organization Work Location Requirement: This position is fully on-site in Boca Raton, FL.
