Kitchen Manager

We are seeking a talented Kitchen Manager for a local upscale-casual restaurant featuring a wood-fired grill and rustic, scratch-made cuisine. This role oversees a kitchen staff of up to 30. Duties include managing vendor relationships, controlling costs, fostering recipe/menu accuracy, maintaining culinary excellence and upholding sanitation standards.
Kitchen Manager Responsibilities
- Lead kitchen operations to ensure quality, consistency, and elevated guest experiences
- Provide hands-on leadership across food preparation, execution, and service standards
- Participate in par management, purchasing, ordering, inventories, food cost control and scheduling
- Train, mentor, and inspire a team of culinary professionals
- Adhere to established recipes & menus
Kitchen Manager Qualifications
- 4+ years of progressive culinary experience in full-service restaurants
- 2+ years of kitchen oversight (as Kitchen Manager, Executive Sous Chef or Chef de Cuisine)
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Knowledge of food safety standards
- Flexible schedule (AM/PM shifts, holidays)
