Are you an experienced insurance professional who enjoys working with people and finding ways to help customers get the most from their insurance coverage?

We are seeking a Customer Retention Specialist to strengthen relationships with existing policyholders, identify opportunities to protect and expand their coverage, and help create a positive customer experience throughout the life of their policies.

This role is ideal for someone who is confident communicating with customers, comfortable discussing insurance solutions, and motivated by both service and performance.

Your Role

• You will serve as an important point of contact for existing customers while helping the agency improve retention and grow its book of business.
• Responsibilities include:
• Maintain strong, ongoing relationships with existing insurance customers.
• Contact customers to review policies, coverage needs, and changing circumstances.
• Identify opportunities to improve coverage and introduce additional insurance products.
• Discuss and sell Personal Lines insurance products to current and prospective customers.
• Follow up with customers regarding quotes, policy changes, renewals, and coverage needs.
• Make outbound calls and respond to inbound customer inquiries.
• Ask thoughtful questions to uncover additional insurance needs.
• Work with licensed team members to identify Life Insurance opportunities.
• Address customer concerns and help resolve issues in a timely, professional manner.
• Build customer loyalty through consistent communication and exceptional service.
• Generate referrals and new opportunities through existing customer relationships.
• Maintain accurate customer information, notes, and follow-up activities.
• Participate in community and relationship-building activities that support agency growth.

What Makes You a Strong Fit

• Active Property & Casualty Insurance License, or the ability to obtain one.
• Previous insurance, sales, account management, customer retention, or relationship-based experience preferred.
• Confident communicator who can build trust with customers.
• Comfortable discussing coverage and recommending insurance solutions.
• Strong follow-up skills and attention to detail.
• Goal-oriented and motivated by measurable results.
• Able to handle multiple customer conversations and priorities.
• Professional, dependable, and self-directed.
• Comfortable using Windows-based computer applications.
• Positive attitude and willingness to continue learning.

Compensation & Benefits

• $50,000-$65,000 base salary, depending on experience
