Description Human Resources Associate Location: North Haven, CT Job Type: Full-Time Salary Range: $58,000 - $68,000 annually Join Our Team At Executive Landscaping, we create and maintain environments that are unique and sustainable. The ideal candidate is bilingual in English and Spanish and enjoys building strong relationships with employees at all levels of the organization. Position Summary The Human Resources Associate provides day-to-day support for a variety of HR functions, including onboarding, recruiting, benefits administration, employee records management, compliance, employee support, and HR projects. This role serves as a key resource for employees and leaders while partnering closely with the HR team to deliver exceptional service across the organization. What You’ll Do Coordinate interviews and communicate with candidates throughout the hiring process. Assist with job postings, candidate screening, and recruiting activities. Facilitate new hire onboarding and orientation programs. Ensure all pre-employment and onboarding documentation is completed accurately. Employee Support Serve as a point of contact for employee questions regarding policies, benefits, and HR procedures. Build positive working relationships with employees across the organization. Support employee engagement and recognition initiatives. Assist with employee communications and HR-related programs. Benefits & HR Administration Support benefits enrollment, changes, and employee inquiries. Maintain employee personnel files and HRIS records. Process employee status changes including promotions, transfers, and terminations. Assist with leave administration and employee documentation. Compliance & Reporting Maintain compliance with federal, state, and company requirements. Assist with I-9 administration and employment documentation. Support HR reporting, audits, and recordkeeping activities. Help maintain accurate employee data and workforce metrics. HR Projects Participate in HR process improvement initiatives. Support training and development activities. Assist with special projects as assigned. What We’re Looking For Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred. 1-3 years of Human Resources, Recruiting, Payroll, or Administrative experience. Strong organizational and time management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook. Preferred Qualifications Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred. Experience working with an HRIS system. Knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices. Experience in construction, landscaping, manufacturing, or other field-based environments. Why Join Executive Landscaping?
