Sous ChefThe Momofuku Group is comprised of restaurants and bakeries located in the US, Australia, and Canada, a magazine, and an equipment manufacturing company. We are fun, exciting and fast-paced. Momofuku CCDC serves a roster of dishes that change with the seasons. The restaurant has a bar, noodle bar, main dining room, and private dining room.We are looking for passionate and enthusiastic Sous Chefs to work with us!Some things you'll be doing:Monitoring and ensuring company standard operating procedures are metWorking with seasonal ingredientsWorking with the Executive Chef on menu creationExecuting menu items from start to finish. This includes preparation of ingredients, butchery of proteins, cooking and plating of dishes.Manage all kitchen employees including training, coaching, scheduling and disciplining5+ years of related (high volume) experienceExperience with back of house administrative and managerial duties a mustProficient in Microsoft Word and ExcelProven ability in teaching and mentoring kitchen employeesExceptional communication and supervisory skillsWhat's in it for you?We offer competitive pay and a comprehensive benefits package, including vision/dental/medical, and gym and commuter discounts, plus more after required wait periods.
