Primary Special Ed Teacher - Metro Prep Grade School - Arlington Heights Job Tracking ID :512588-912756 Job Location :Arlington Heights, IL Job Level :Entry Level (less than 2 years) Metro Prep High School, Grade School and Laureate Day School have been educating and supporting students with special needs for over 25 years supported by FGC. Using a multidisciplinary approach, Metro Prep and Laureate Day School provides educational and therapeutic learning opportunities in a small, nurturing environment. This allows our staff to tailor each student’s program to meet his or her individual needs. Metro Prep Grade School serves students kindergarten - eighth grade. Responsibilities Collaborate with co-workers in the implementation of the IEP. Develop curriculum to meet each student’s individual needs as indicated on the IEP. Maintain an IEP for each student and update the IEP quarterly and for the students annual review by using collected data. Complete an educational summary for each student quarterly and upon completion dismissal of the program. Attend district staffing as required. Attend all required staff meetings and in‑services. Participate in weekly planning and prepare (plan and copy) for at least one week at a time. Maintain attendance, grade book and lesson plans for each student. Maintain and upkeep an inventory of classroom materials. Schedule & Pay Regular School Year Schedule : Monday - Friday (8:00a- 3:30p) Start Date : ASAP Work Location : 2525 E.
