The company delivers trusted, innovative, and tailored solutions that support some of the world's most in demand and fastest-growing industries.With a commitment to legendary customer service, operational excellence, and global sustainability, Greif packages life's essentials - and creates lasting value for its colleagues, customers, and other stakeholders.OUR VISION:To Be the Advantage That Helps Our Customers Win.OUR PURPOSE:Creating packaging solutions for life's essentials.Job Description:ROLE OVERVIEW: Under direct supervision, performs routine office support services, which may include answering telephones and preparing bills, statements, receipts, checks, or other documents, and/or transferring information from one record to another.Key Responsibilities:Welcomes and directs visitors and clients when necessary.Process daily accounts payable invoices accurately and timely.Review invoices for required information, including vendor name, invoice number, date, amount, purchase order, and supporting documentation.Enter invoices into the accounting/ERP system and maintain accurate invoice records.Process and reconcile overnight drop-off tickets, ensuring tickets are properly documented and entered for payment processing.Respond to routine vendor inquiries regarding invoice status, payment information, and documentation.Assist with month-end AP closing activities, including ensuring invoices are entered and supporting documentation is complete.Operates office machines including copiers, scanners, phone and voicemail systems, computer systems, and other standard office equipment.Answers phones, directs calls to appropriate colleagues, and prepares messages.Copies, sorts, and files records related to office activities, business transactions and other matters.Sorts incoming mail and delivers to the appropriate department or colleagues; processes outgoing mail.Maintains filing systems either manually or electronically.Performs other duties as assigned.Education and Experience:Typically possesses a High School diploma (or equivalent) and 2-5 years of experience.Knowledge and Skills:Good verbal and written communication and customer service skills.Basic understanding of Microsoft Office Suite software.Good knowledge of basic office equipment (i.e., copiers, fax machines, calculators, etc.).Basic understanding of clerical procedures and systems, such as recordkeeping and filing.Good attention to detail.Compensation Range:The pay range for this position is $21.88 - $37.26 annually. Typically, a competitive wage for new hires will fall between $22.00 to $25.00 annually. Offers for this position may vary based on market data and other factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographic location.
