Location: Chandler, AZ (Onsite/Hybrid) Employment Type: Fulltime Experience Required: 10+ Years
Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master with strong Banking/Financial Services domain experience to lead Agile delivery teams for enterprise-level projects. The ideal candidate will drive Agile best practices, facilitate Scrum ceremonies, remove impediments, and ensure successful project execution in a fast-paced banking environment. Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including Daily Standups, Sprint Planning, Reviews, and Retrospectives.
- Coach teams on Agile/Scrum principles and ensure adherence to best practices.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, and Development teams to prioritize backlog items.
- Identify and remove blockers to maximize team productivity.
- Track sprint progress, velocity, burndown charts, and delivery metrics.
- Coordinate with stakeholders and leadership for status updates and risk management.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives across Agile teams.
- Manage project delivery within scope, timeline, and quality standards.
Required Skills:
- 10+ years of IT experience with 3+ years as Scrum Master.
- Strong Banking / Financial Services experience.
- Hands-on experience with Agile, Scrum, Kanban frameworks.
- Experience with Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps tools.
- Excellent stakeholder communication and leadership skills.
- Knowledge of SDLC, Release Management, and Risk/Compliance processes.
- Scrum Master certification (CSM / PSM / SAFe) preferred.
Preferred:
- Experience working with large enterprise banking clients.
- Exposure to digital banking, payments, lending, or regulatory projects.
