Work Environment

The successful candidate will work on-site at our rehabilitation facility in Waldwick. This full-time position involves a structured schedule, allowing you to focus on providing exceptional care to your patients. Your work hours will be Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, ensuring a consistent routine that fosters strong relationships with residents and staff alike.

Key Responsibilities

• Comprehensive Evaluations: Conduct thorough assessments of residents' physical conditions to develop personalized treatment plans tailored to their specific rehabilitation needs.
• Hands-On Therapy: Implement targeted therapeutic interventions, including exercises, manual therapy, and rehabilitation strategies, aimed at improving mobility, strength, and overall well-being.
• Empower Residents: Actively engage with residents and their families, educating them on rehabilitation strategies and wellness practices to promote ongoing health and recovery.
• Accurate Record-Keeping: Maintain meticulous documentation of care plans, progress notes, and outcomes using our electronic medical record (EMR) system, thus ensuring that all patient information is current and accurate.
• Stay Informed: Continuously update your knowledge and incorporate evidence-based practices to deliver the highest standard of care, including the latest advancements in physical therapy techniques.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with elderly residents and individuals recovering from surgery, injury, or illness. Patients may include those with stroke recovery needs, post-surgical rehabilitation, or age-related mobility challenges. Your empathetic approach and hands-on support will directly influence their recovery, helping them regain independence in their daily lives.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required.
• Possession of a current and valid New Jersey State Physical Therapist License in good standing.
• A minimum of 2 years of relevant clinical experience is preferred, although new graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques and a commitment to a patient-centered clinical approach.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records software (e.g., WebPT) is advantageous.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this full-time position ranges from USD 90,000 – 100,000 yearly , commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additionally, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
