Work Environment

This is an onsite position based in our modern outpatient facility located in Waldwick, New Jersey. Our clinic is designed to be a welcoming and supportive space for both patients and staff. You will work Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM in a vibrant, collaborative atmosphere with a team of orthopedic specialists, therapist assistants, and administrative staff. With an average patient volume of two patients per hour, you will have the opportunity to provide thorough, personalized care to each individual.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients with various orthopedic conditions to establish individualized treatment plans.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and functional training aimed at restoring mobility, strength, and overall function.
• Educate patients on best practices for injury prevention, biomechanics, and the importance of adherence to home exercise programs.
• Collaborate closely with orthopedic physicians, physician assistants, and other medical personnel to ensure coordinated and optimized patient care.
• Monitor patient progress meticulously to adapt treatment plans as needed, ensuring effective rehabilitation outcomes.
• Maintain comprehensive and accurate documentation within our Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system to track patient progress and treatment efficacy.
• Stay informed about current trends and advancements in orthopedic rehabilitation to enhance your skills and improve patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, those with chronic pain conditions, and athletes with sports injuries. You will use your expertise to guide these individuals through tailored rehabilitation programs designed to support their unique needs and objectives. Qualifications

• A valid Physical Therapy license to practice in the state of New Jersey is required.
• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or higher, such as a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree, is mandatory.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with patients and collaborate with the healthcare team.
• Proven ability to create and implement patient-specific treatment modalities that align with evidence-based best practices.

Compensation and Benefits
