What You Will Accomplish

• Conduct routine and complex clinical laboratory tests-including chemistry, hematology, and immunology-adhering to strict protocols.
• Assess results for accuracy, troubleshoot discrepancies, and perform necessary maintenance and calibration on laboratory instruments.
• Support specimen collection efforts and properly prepare samples for analysis as needed.
• Thoroughly document all procedures, mentor new hires or students, and uphold laboratory quality assurance standards.
• Ensure a well-maintained and safe working environment, complying with regulatory and accreditation guidelines.

Education Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health qualification with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certification Expectations

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) must be attained within the first year of employment.
• Maintain current certification for the duration of your employment.
