This role partners with application teams and business leaders to translate strategic goals into reusable, governed architecture aligned with enterprise standards. You’ll lead the design of modern integration ecosystems leveraging APIs, event-driven systems, and cloud-native technologies while ensuring compliance, performance, and cost optimization.What You’ll DoArchitect end-to-end integration solutions across source, connectors, orchestration, transport, and target systems using domain-driven design and API-led approachesApply a multi-platform integration strategy (MuleSoft, SAP BTP, Spring Boot, MFT, ETL, streaming) to select the right solution based on business and technical needsCreate high-level and low-level technical designs leveraging MuleSoft, SAP BTP, Azure API Management, Spring Boot, Kafka, and related toolsDefine and enforce non-functional requirements including scalability, resiliency, availability, and performanceEnsure solutions comply with IT governance frameworks (ITGC, SOX, HIPAA, DSCSA) and pass architecture review boardsGuide modernization initiatives including cloud migration, API transformation, and integration platform consolidationConduct TCO analysis and recommend cost-effective integration strategies and alternativesCollaborate with cross-functional stakeholders including engineering teams, architects, and leadership to deliver reusable and scalable integration patternsWhat You’ll BringBasic Requirements7+ years of experience in integration architecture, solution architecture, or enterprise integrationBachelor's Degree or equivalent experienceProven experience designing API-led and event-driven architecturesHands-on expertise with at least one major integration platform (MuleSoft, SAP BTP, or equivalent)Strong understanding of microservices, REST APIs, messaging, ETL, and file-based integrationsExperience implementing secure, scalable, and highly available distributed systemsDemonstrated experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP)Familiarity with governance, compliance, and architecture review processesAbility to translate business requirements into technical architecturePreferred Skills / ExperienceKnowledge of Kafka, IBM MQ, GoAnywhere MFT, Tibco, SAP BODS, ElasticsearchExperience with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, SAP BTP Integration Suite, Azure APIM, Spring Boot (Java)Understanding of the Boomi platformExposure to event streaming and real-time data pipelinesExperience conducting TCO analysis and platform rationalizationFamiliarity with AI-enabled integration or intelligent automationStrong stakeholder management and executive communication skillsIndustry experience in healthcare, supply chain, or regulated environmentsRelevant certifications (MuleSoft, cloud provider, architecture frameworks)We are proud to offer a competitive compensation package at McKesson as part of our Total Rewards.
