Associate Trusts and Estates Attorney

Responsibilities The Associate Trusts and Estates Attorney will work on a full-time, on-site basis in the firm’s Boston office. Day-to-day responsibilities include drafting wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and related estate planning documents, as well as assisting with probate and trust administration, including litigation. The role involves conducting legal research on trusts and estates issues, reviewing and analyzing client financial and family circumstances, and preparing memoranda, correspondence, and court filings. The attorney will participate in client meetings, provide legal guidance under the supervision of senior attorneys, and help manage case files and deadlines. Qualifications Strong foundational writing and research skills with a focus on trusts and estates. Effective negotiation skills to assist in resolving disputes, participating in settlement discussions, and navigating contested probate or trust matters. 1–3 years of experience as a licensed attorney handling Massachusetts trust and estate matters. Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with capacity to handle multiple matters and deadlines in a collaborative team environment.
