Investigate and reconcile patient account discrepancies to ensure accurate billing and timely resolution. Process patient payments, refunds, and account adjustments accurately and efficiently. Verify, review, and update patient insurance information to maintain accurate account records. Communicate with insurance providers to verify eligibility and benefits, obtain prior authorizations, and resolve coverage issues. Follow up on outstanding insurance claims, denials, and unpaid balances to maximize reimbursement. Maintain accurate, confidential, and up-to-date patient account documentation in accordance with organizational policies. Deliver exceptional customer service while assisting patients, providers, and insurance representatives with billing inquiries. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline workflows, improve billing processes, and support timely reimbursement. Stay current on insurance regulations, payer policies, and medical billing and coding requirements to ensure compliance.
