Job Description:

On behalf of our Healthcare client, Affinity is seeking a Clinical Solutions Lead to drive solution design for Emergency Medicine workflows within an Oracle Health (Cerner) environment. This role will focus on high-acuity, fast-paced clinical workflows and optimizing system usability for emergency care delivery.

Responsibilities
• Lead clinical design workshops with emergency physicians, nurses, and operational stakeholders
• Own end-to-end workflow design and solution decisions for the domain
• Translate clinical and operational requirements into system design and configuration direction
• Drive stakeholder alignment and decision-making in a fast-paced environment
• Ensure adherence to Oracle Health (Cerner) methodologies and iterative design cycles
• Partner with build/configuration teams to ensure accurate implementation
• Identify risks, gaps, and optimization opportunities within workflows
• Act as the primary accountable lead for the assigned clinical domain


Domain-Specific Focus (Emergency Medicine)
• Design workflows supporting triage, patient tracking boards, and rapid documentation
• Configure and optimize order sets, clinical decision support, and emergency protocols
• Support high-throughput environments with a focus on speed, visibility, and efficiency
• Align workflows with patient flow initiatives (e.g., wait times, throughput, bed management)
• Ensure integration with ancillary systems (lab, imaging, pharmacy) for rapid diagnostics and treatment


Qualifications
• 5+ years of Oracle Health / Cerner implementation experience
• Experience leading solution design across at least 2 full EHR/HIS/CIS implementations
• Experience supporting Emergency Department workflows
• Strong understanding of high-acuity clinical environments and patient flow
• Proven ability to lead fast-paced design workshops with clinical stakeholders
• Strong communication and facilitation skills


Location
• Remote with travel (approximately 1 week per month onsite)
• Full-time (1.0 FTE)
