Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough psychological assessments to identify client needs and develop personalized treatment plans using evidence-based methods.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, employing modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to help clients achieve their therapeutic goals.

• Support clients dealing with trauma and PTSD through targeted interventions and create a safe, nurturing environment that fosters healing.

• Manage client cases effectively, ensuring proper coordination of services, including making referrals to other professionals as needed to enhance treatment outcomes.

• Maintain meticulous documentation regarding client progress, treatment plans, and session details in compliance with ICD-9 standards to ensure continuity of care and legal compliance.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, case managers, and social workers, to provide holistic care and improve overall service delivery.

• Engage in child-family counseling to navigate complex family dynamics, helping clients build healthier relationships through guided exploration and communication strategies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

At PROMIS, we work with a diverse client base, including children, teenagers, and adults facing a variety of mental health challenges. Our clients often present with issues such as anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, trauma, and family conflict. We believe in individualized care, allowing our clinicians to tailor their approaches based on each client's specific needs and backgrounds.

Qualifications\n

• A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in psychology, counseling, or a related field; a Master’s or Doctorate degree is preferred.

• A current, unrestricted California LMFT license issued by the Board of Behavioral Sciences.

• At least two years of clinical experience in a related setting, working with individuals, families, and couples.

Compensation and Benefits\n
