Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for the assigned patients. Coordinates the patient care in conjunction with other departments. Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information. Position Details Nurses work 12‑hour shifts 7am–7pm or 7pm–7am with rotational weekends. Licensure: Is personally responsible for obtaining and maintaining a current LPN license within the hiring state in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all State Board of Nursing requirements within 90 days of graduation. Experience: Can be new or experienced LPN. Certification: Must be LPN‑IV Certification issued by the Missouri State Board of Nursing. Certification: Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire. Unit Information The 4C unit serves the medical cardiac population by managing chronic and acute onset diseases while balancing the need for telemetry and cardiac management. The types of patients served include those with multisystem management needs such as heart failure, respiratory distress, unmanageable dysrhythmias, pneumonia, sepsis, COPD, diabetes and gastro‑intestinal conditions.
