Janitorial Area Manager

This position is responsible for managing a set amount of accounts, developing a relationship with our clients, and managing a team of employees whom are responsible for cleaning those buildings each night.

This is an evening/overnight position.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional and prompt customer service
• Manage work orders, periodic work, and extra work jobs
• Perform quality control inspections
• Recruit team members
• Train, develop, and motivate team members
• Manage equipment and repairs
• Manages chemical and supply inventory
• Sell extra services to customer
• Manage team member performance and document any corrective action
• Follow all company policies and procedures
• Perform other duties as assigned by Operations Manager

Requirements

Personal:  Integrity, work ethic, customer focus, organization, verbal communications, written communications, problem solving, planning

Physical:  Able to lift, carry push and pull up to 50 lbs., able to kneel, crawl, and squat periodically, able to stand and walk for extended periods, able to reach above head and shoulders continuously, able to climb stairs and ladders

Technical:  Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook

Experience/Education:  High School diploma, minimum of three years supervisory or management experience in service industry, associate’s degree preferred, but not required.
