TheAssistant Chief Flight Instructor assists in the administration andoversight of flight operation and flight course portions of theaviation program. The incumbent must possess and maintain a strongworking knowledge of all applicable Federal Aviation Regulations(FARs) for Part 141 and will assist with all FAA related paperworkand documentation. Minimum Qualifications Education: Bachelor's degree is required. Experience: Two years of directly related experience. Licensure & Certifications - Certified Flight Instructor CFI, CFII and MEI - Requirements of FAR Part 141 for Assistant Chief Flight Instructor - Possesses and can maintain a 2nd class medical certificate Preferred Qualifications Job Duties 40% - Assists as directed with all EKU Aviation flight training activities. - () 30% - Monitors compliance with the Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs) in the training of students and the supervision of flight instructors. - () 10% - Provides leadership and guidance for flight instructors. - () 10% - Collects feedback to be used to review and update the flight training program and training materials. - () 5% - Assists as directed with scheduling and dispatch activities related to flight students, instructors, and aircraft for flight training. - () 5% - Supports the office functions by completing all other duties and special projects as assigned. - () Sponsorship This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
