Overview Pharmacist Resident at Providence St Vincent Medical Center in Portland, OR. Full-Time/Day Shift The Specialty Pharmacy Practice Residency is a one-year training program following successful completion of a PGY1 in an institutional practice setting that provides training as set forth and approved by the American Society of Health-Systems Pharmacists (ASHP). Residents who successfully complete a PGY2 pharmacy residency are prepared for advanced patient care, academic, or other specialized positions. Required Qualifications Graduated from an Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) accredited college of pharmacy. Upon hire: Oregon Pharmacist Intern License Or Upon hire: Oregon Pharmacist License Notes: (1) Required within one hundred and twenty (120) days of hire, or as outlined by specific program policies, whichever is sooner. Completion of Pharmacy Practice Residency (PGY1) Demonstrated computer literacy Preferred Qualifications PharmD Experience in hospital pharmacy practices as a student, intern, or pharmacist. Demonstrated drug knowledge, IV knowledge, and compounding ability Why Join Providence?
