Position Overview

The Sales Associate will support merchandise sales during live performances, helping create a smooth and positive guest experience. Responsibilities include assisting customers, processing transactions, maintaining organized displays, and supporting inventory and closing procedures.


Key Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, efficient customer service to event attendees.
• Process merchandise purchases accurately using point-of-sale systems.
• Assist with merchandise setup, display maintenance, restocking, and breakdown.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional sales area.
• Handle cash and payment transactions responsibly in accordance with established procedures.
• Support inventory counts and report discrepancies to onsite leadership.
• Work collaboratively with team members during busy pre-show, intermission, and post-show periods.
• Attend required orientation and training sessions.


Qualifications

• Previous retail, hospitality, customer service, or event experience is preferred.
• Strong communication skills and a professional, guest-focused approach.
• Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a team.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced environment with frequent customer interaction.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform light lifting, stocking, and merchandise handling.
• Flexible availability for evenings, weekends, matinees, and event-based schedules.


Schedule


This is a project-based assignment supporting a multi-week live performance run. Team members will not necessarily be scheduled for every shift. Availability for a required orientation and a mix of weekday, evening, and weekend performance shifts is required.
