Cardiovascular Key Account Manager - Wilmington, DE

Amgen seeks a Cardiovascular Key Account Manager for the Wilmington, DE and Toms River, NJ territory. The role involves developing and executing strategic account plans, managing relationships with healthcare system stakeholders, and driving utilization of cardiovascular products across inpatient and ambulatory settings.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive account plans aligned to cardiovascular business strategy and institutional needs
- Serve as strategic lead for assigned key accounts, engaging priority providers and ensuring institutional availability
- Build and maintain professional relationships with hospital decision-makers including pharmacy, clinical directors, and finance leaders
- Coordinate pull-through initiatives and monitor account performance, market dynamics, and business drivers
- Collaborate with field teams and arrange compliant programs and initiatives to promote cardiovascular products
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree plus 6 years sales/account management experience, or Master's degree plus 4 years, or Doctorate plus 2 years
- 3+ years account management and/or public payor experience strongly preferred
- Cardiology experience including dyslipidemia, heart failure, and acute coronary syndromes highly preferred
- Knowledge of hospital committee structures, P&T processes, and reimbursement systems
- Understanding of Medicare, CMS policies, and government healthcare agencies
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across matrixed teams and resolve payor-related issues
