Warehouse Shipping/Receiving Clerk

Warehouse Inventory Clerk supports our warehouse and food manufacturing operations. This position is paperwork-intensive, with a primary focus on maintaining accurate documentation, tracking inventory movement, and computer knowledge to create and fill out shipping/receiving forms. The ideal candidate thrives in an administrative-heavy role while being comfortable working in a warehouse setting. Forklift experience is preferred but not required. Key Responsibilities: Warehouse Support Prepare BOLs for outgoing shipments, ensuring information (lots, quantities) is accurate. Create invoices for shipments, ensuring all shipment details are accurate and properly documented. Assist in the receiving process, completing paperwork and electronically scanning documents to correct locations. Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts, if certified and required. Support inventory management functions, including cross-training to provide coverage for inventory manager responsibilities as needed. Inventory Documentation & Recordkeeping Maintain detailed and accurate inventory records, including inventory logs, material movement forms, and shipping/receiving documents. Ensure all paperwork is filed and archived in accordance with internal SOPs and regulatory standards (GMP, HACCP, FSMA). Help perform regular physical counts and reconcile discrepancies with system data and documentation. Monitor and reconcile inventory levels, ensuring accuracy between physical stock and system records Utilize inventory management systems to accurately record and subtract raw materials and packaging used in daily production runs Administrative Support Process and track all incoming and outgoing shipments through proper documentation and data entry. Generate and maintain raw material requisitions and inventory adjustment forms. Coordinate closely with production and quality departments to ensure documentation accuracy and traceability. Support audit readiness by organizing and presenting required records during inspections and internal reviews. Compliance & Quality Assurance Follow and enforce food safety and inventory documentation procedures in compliance with HACCP, GMP, and company standards. Participate in internal audits and continuous improvement initiatives focused on inventory accuracy and documentation efficiency. Identify documentation errors or gaps and take corrective action with appropriate teams. Qualifications: High school diploma or GED required; additional coursework or certification in logistics, administration, or supply chain is a plus. 2+ years of warehouse or inventory experience, with a strong emphasis on administrative tasks and documentation. Proficient in inventory software (ERP/WMS) and Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word. Strong attention to detail and commitment to documentation accuracy. Excellent organizational and communication skills. Ability to work in a temperature-controlled warehouse environment and meet physical demands (lifting up to 50 lbs). Forklift certification preferred; willingness to operate material handling equipment as needed.
